Mission Statement
The Department of Fashion Design Technology aims to train students with quality technological education that targets to link theory and practice in growing fashion industry and serve the national and international communities by providing skilled technologists to contribute towards socio-economic development.
Labs
The Department of Fashion Design is equipped with Cloth Making Lab, Cloth Cad Lab, Pattern Making Lab, Draping Lab, Drawing Lab and Display Room. Drafting Lab with cutting tables, Sewing Lab with latest industrial sewing machines, Latest fabric cutting machines, Irons, specially designed machines for denim garments stitching, Laser Lab, Garment Dry Processing Lab & Garment Wet Processing Lab.

- Duration: Four Academic Years (8 Semesters)

- Total Credit hours: 136
Entry Requirements
- The applicant must have one of the following qualifications with overall core of at least 60%
- Any diploma of 3 years or Intermediate or equivalent to Intermediate
The admissions to B. Sc. Fashion Design Technology program will be decided based on the following criteria:
- PTUT entry test (30% weightage)
- Marks of last degree /intermediate (70% weightage)
