The Department of Architecture Technology is established to educate and train learners to respond,
to new challenges in the building sector through architectural engineering technology and other related disciplinary areas. It offers a four-year bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering technology. This
program focuses on detailed design and construction decisions for new and existing buildings and
their immediate surroundings with a greater emphasis on technological, engineering, and environmental aspects. Its curriculum is designed to provide the knowledge and skills required in understanding, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating design, technology, management, and
practice. It will also advance the architectural management proficiency of the learners by bringing
together all aspects of the design process, from concept through to completion. Incessant site visits,
projects, and internships will make graduates more responsive to the architecture, engineering and
technological requirements.

technologists of high caliber, technical skills, and ethical values to meet the industry challenges and
societal demands.
PEO 1: To become practicing technologists with hands-on experience in solving application-oriented problems
related to the core areas of architectural engineering technology and other related disciplinary fields.
